By the way: question about baldricks in general. see I was under the impression that you wore one and that had your House symbol on it, but clearly that's not how it looks like now.. Any warrior (Klingon warrior) can have a baldrick. Essentially it is him saying he is a warrior. Some houses have traditions associated with gaining one. Usually its the Imperial Houses that make it more of an event or have more fancy ones. Same with weapons.

Not if he passed all the tests. And wearing it, would make a Klingon assume that person had passed the tests and was aware of Klingon custom. And so, a Klingon's reaction to you bumping into him in a bar could be very different than some flathead wearing PJs who does it.

On KDB the students are under K'Hare's protection. (Students have a special thing to wear on their baldricks.) The NPC crewman all know they are learning so they have fun with them but know where to draw the line. This helps the students learn.

Some of the students look fully Klingon so there could be confusing. roS graduated and you should ask him what kind of trouble he got into because he missed a lesson.
