Tarlin watched almost bored with the display. 'Humans, such weaklings' He watched as the human Qel cleaned his uncles wounds. He shifted the bat'letH in his hands. "Uncle I could do that for you, there is no need to let this...Human" he spat the word as if it had a bad taste, "Touch you." toreQ glared at Tarlin. "Be nice Tarlin. Humans can be Honorable as well as Great Warriors if we give them the chance to show it." He said, though he did look at the Human Qel. "Forgive me, but I think I will allow him this Honor. I will repay you when we get the chance." Tarlin shook his head, "Humans have no honor, they are lower then targs! As for warriors that's insulting! They are pathetic and should have all been crushed before the dominion war ever took place!" "The war would not have been won without Human warriors fighting by our side!" toreQ snapped sharply. Though this might have been a surprising statement for a Klingon to admit, toreQ knew it was true and didn't deny it. Tarlin raised his chin proudly, "That's a matter of opinion!" She said. "It is a matter of Fact, young loD. I know it because I fought in it." He said meeting the 8 year old's eyes. "It is a matter of Fact, young loD. I know it because I fought in it." He said Tarlin merely shook his head again. "Your mistaken uncle. Very much mistaken." toreQ was getting irritated, he glanced in the Qel's direction a moment before looking back to Tarlin. Was clear he was not sure how handle this. "How would you know boy! Do not pretend to know more than one who has experienced it!" Tarlin sat toreQ's blade down. He headed for the door. "My duty is fulfilled we are on the ship. I am going to find my mother. Good day to you toreQ." There was no mistaking the menace in the boys voice. toreQ sighed, "Tarlin..." He started... "What?!" The boy growled over his shoulder. toreQ at the moment realized he had no idea what to say to convince the Boy to stay. But he had to say something. "Your a very intelligent loD... If you are staying aboard we could use someone who could handle the weapons our warriors use in training." He offered, knowing that it was not the best way to deal with this. Tarlin turned around perplex at the sudden change in topic. "It was not my intention to stay on this ship. I have no desire to be this near to my overprotective SoS. I am a warrior and as such I am off to earn my honor in combat where ever I can find it." "You have not yet reached First age of ascension. If you take my offer, you will get the chance to learn among the weHwI'. I can speak to your SoS." Tarlin sighed, "She would not permit it, Even if she did your rawl' never would. I refuse to stay where I am not wanted." toreQ sighed, he didn't know what to say about that. "I don't need to be of age to be a warrior. I am capable of taking care of myself." He said crossing his arms. "Perhaps in skill, but you still have many things you can learn to become a better warrior." "Anything I need to learn I will do along my way. I have spent my whole life alone, Its all I know. All these people would just smoother me." "All these people are part of what a warrior must learn to live with. No one can fight a battle alone. Not even Kahless could defeat entire armies alone. There is a reason we as Klingons live together." He said. Tarlin frowned, looked as if he was about to say something but his mouth slammed shut and he chewed his bottom lip a moment. Before rushing out the door. toreQ sighed as Tarlin left, and hoped he had been able to get threw to him at least some. He looked back to the Qel, "Forgive me..." He said as he got up to leave... his wounds not yet covered with the fresh bandages, thought it seemed to be the last thing on his mind... <Tag: Drake.
