Veska approached the airlock, her security officer escort in tow (thanks to the whole rule against carrying bat’leths around the station, and her slight disregard for that the previous evening). As she got closer to the airlock saw Taj. She hadn’t had much interaction with Taj before the group that was going to the tourney had left, nor did she see him much during the tournament himself, and that hadn’t changed much despite the beverages on Kral’s tab when he requested they check in with him at the Lucky Strike the night before.
She was now probably too clean, but at least she didn’t stick of herbs and salves as she had the night before. Not that she had any second thoughts about having her mate drop in for an unexpected visit in the least. Though the next morning, amongst the occasional pang from having drunk too much the night before, she did remember she had forgot to ask him if he knew anything about qul’yIt and to maybe keep an ear out for her, even though toreQ had said to keep out of it. Veska had tried to find qul’yIt and even Starfire or Satian last night, but they had already left the station to the Crazy Horse. But Veska had little doubt she would run into them again.
Once the D’bloq had docked she approached the airlock. “Veska ne’ requesting to board.” she then glared slightly at the security officer who had yet to leave. Apparently she and her bat’leth had to be aboard before he would stop following her. Though she was not alone, as there was another security officer that had acknowledged hers, who was no doubt keeping an eye on Taj and his bat’leth.
