ON: K'Vok moved through the corridors of the station, trying to find Ness. He had to take Ness to the ship to deal with Ta'pez, and then, stalk the kitty. Ness was heading back towards the guest quarters he had been assigned. A pillow and a matress were nice changes from the slab he was used to on the meH'Haj. K'Vok saw Ness and headed over to him, "Ness!" The halfbreed bellowed. Ness turned and saw K'Vok heading towards him. K'Vok did not look like he was in a particularly good mood, but then, Ness didn't remember ever seeing K'Vok in a good mood. Ness looked around, didn't see anyone else nearby. The next place he could expect to find people was... several minutes walk at best. His room wasn't close enough either. He would have to deal with K'Vok here. If he was lucky, K'Vok was not angry at him, but needed to tell him something. But the chances of that were slim to none. "Come with me, terran." K'Vok barked, "Let's go." It was quite obvious K'Vok was not coming to tell him the latest gossip going around the base. "I don't know anyone named 'terran,' and I am pretty sure that you know my name." Ness would have given up a lot right now to have his Type-I with him. K'Vok snarled, "Come. With. Me." "Where?" Ness asked, he wasn't about to follow someone who has attempted to kill him more than once to who knows where. "To the meH'Haj. Follow me, or I will drag your unconscious body." K'Vok rephrased it, looking at the terran with barely constrained malice. Ness thought about this quickly. The meH'Haj, weapons restrictions didn't apply, nor did prevention of someone from seriously injuring or killing someone. K'Vok probably wanted him there because there K'Vok would not be arrested. Though, on the meH'Haj, Ness might be able to get access to his phaser, or if needed, he could instruct the computer to administer an airborne sedative. There were options there. He started walking towards K'Vok and the general direction of the meH'Haj airlock, maintaining distance from K'Vok himself. The kr'tach moved quietly, watching the terran. It was interesting to say the least. He wanted to see the man dead eventually, or writhing in pain, hopefully after what he said to kitty, he would be. Ness was also watching, but he was watching K'Vok. Ness knew that K'Vok, mentally, was less than stable. Although he knew Ta'pez trusted K'Vok's motives and decisions, even Ta'pez couldn't guarantee that K'Vok wouldn't lose control of himself. K'Vok entered the airlock, glaring at security guards. He hated the yellow-collared terran weaklings, but since he had restored his honour beating the cheating Beckett in the last round, he wouldn't need to be arrested. Now he just had to deal with Ness and continue stalking. Ness followed him into the airlock and onto the meH'Haj. Ness knew instantly that the tournament's rules on behavior and conduct no longer helped him. K'Vok looked at Ness, then moved, heading towards the 'echs quarters. Ness could now determine their destination. Ta'pez would not have wanted K'Vok to kill him, but if Ta'pez ordered K'Vok to retrieve him, it was because the ra'wI' was not happy with him. K'Vok looked back to Ness, "Figure it out yet, Terran?" "I have figured out that Ta'pez is not pleased with me," Ness said truthfully. He had no idea he had done anything wrong. K'Vok smiled coldly, leading him on to Ta'pez's quarters. "You'll see, terran." Something about K'Vok's smile told him that this was not simply one of Ness's mistakes involving unfamiliarity with one Klingon mannerism or conception, but one that affected K'Vok personally. Either that, or K'Vok reported to Ta'pez in the first place, or both. K'Vok stopped at the door of the quarters, "In, petaQ." When the door opened, Ness stepped inside, unsure of what he'd be dealing with. OFF A JP between Ness Sogh & K'Vok ne' TAG: Ta'pez.
