"Well this is definitely different" Jackie chuckled lightly. "Course... heh. the more different it is , the more you learn from the experience" she noted. Jackie paused lightly, wondering about her last line, her current experience was one of those different things.
Coming to the tournament, the Caitian had no idea what she was in for, and so far the tournament has proven to be different to anything she's faced so far on a lot of levels. It's true that she wasn't doing so well in the actual battles, and under other circumsances, she would be highly peeved with herself, but right now, the Caitain might've been just a bit angry, angry enough to keep it to herself, and to make sure she kept on going, kept on trying; but she enjoyed the exprience so far.
Aside meeting new people and getting to know some of them, the Caitian was extatic to feel the surge of adrenaline each time she fought in the arena, and in the end, she hadn't really cared who won or lost. It's been years since Jackie felt truly alive, this experience made her feel alive all over again. The Caitian took something from each and every battle, and took each of her losses with full pride, knowing fair well she fought with honor throughout the match and did her best. She just needed a bit more work with the betleH, and hopefully, once she acquired a personal betleH instead of the replicated one, she'd do better too. She might not make it far this year, but by next year, she'd be more prepared than she was right now.
Jackie looked up, noticing K'Hare and the other judges at another table. this was a good moment to catch the Klingon and inquire about her incident with the short Klingon last night.
"Excuseme" Jackie said "I'll be right back, I have to talk to K'Hare about something" she said standing up
